Digital Talent Lab DATATHON: Building Confidence to Communicate Data, AI, and ML Effectively
In today’s AI-driven world, many people feel uncertain about how to communicate effectively about data, Machine Learning, and AI, whether in research, at work, or in school projects. Studies show that over half of knowledge workers already use AI tools but still struggle to clearly explain data insights and their implications, with poor communication cited as a leading cause of workplace failures.
The Datathon addresses this gap by teaching participants not only how to analyze data but also how to tell compelling stories with it, fostering skills essential for collaboration and decision-making across fields. As data analytics, machine learning, and AI become integral to nearly every profession, mastering data communication is no longer optional-it’s vital for thriving in the modern job market.

We proudly announce the launch of The Digital Talent Lab, a new initiative spearheaded by the team led by Professor Stan Sobolevsky. This innovative Lab aims to enhance Data Analysis, Machine Learning, and AI skills of interested candidates through hands-on projects with commercial partners in the free and online Datathon.
Digital Talent Lab offers informal, public, free, and practical training in data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Now, everyone can learn by doing – through experiential learning in the form of a Datathon now, or corporate internships later.
