The Impact of Highly Ionized Metal Flux in HiPIMS, - Towards the Low Temperature Growth of Functional Thin Films

Assoc. Prof. Tetsuhide Shimizu finished his PHD in 2011 at Tokyo Metropolitan University, where since 2020 works as associated professor and the head of Thin-film Proccess Engeneering Laboratory. Over the years, he has collaborated extensively with both academic and industrial partners, notably with our mutual collaborators at Linköping University, where he continues to be listed as a visiting researcher. To date, he has authored 78 peer-reviewed publications, received 21 grants and fellowships, been honored with 12 academic awards, and has held 10 key positions in academic societies, including roles in organizing major international conferences.
