Entry placement test: Registration of interest
Submit your short professional CV plus motivation letter.
You will be offered to choose of an individual project task (data driven tasks, diverse technology background assumptions, prepared together with partner companies, up to two working days of expected complexity for relevant applicants, due within 10 days after individual assignment).

1st phase: Individual project
After succeeding in the Entry placement test, you will be invited to an individual project, again subject of choice, exclusively online, mainly asynchronous communication through e-mail, however no direct individual mentoring yet, due within 3 weeks.

2nd phase: Advanced individual phase
If successful and interested, you may continue in more serious individual project (run for about 3 weeks) including partial informal mentoring by the Digital City Lab researchers.
The participants will receive certificates reflecting their progress.
In case of mutual interest in longer collaboration, teamwork cooperation on real-world projects may follow.

Our Datathon in data analytics is a competition where participants tackle real-world problems using data analysis techniques. The Digital Talent Lab Datathon provides opportunities to apply data science tools and techniques to solve practical problems.
What participants do in our Datathon?
Individual Exploration: examine independently the dataset, perform initial data cleaning, explore potential analytical approaches, and formulate preliminary hypotheses or solutions.
Problem Solving: be challenged to solve specific problems using real-world datasets, building upon their initial explorations.
Data Analysis: examine datasets to identify trends and draw conclusions, often using specialized software and systems.
Insight Generation: You are going to use analytics to think creatively and generate insights from the data.
Model Building: You can focus on data analysis and modeling to create prototypes.
Skill Application: You will apply their data-handling skills and knowledge of data analytics tools.
Presentation: You are going to present your project, findings, and solutions.
